О СПЕКТАКЛЕ «СКАЗКИ СНА»
Режиссер и видеохудожник Илья Старилов, хореограф Владимир Варнава, драматург Валерий Печейкин и креативный директор Елена Новикова объединились, чтобы создать танцевально-драматический проект по мотивам сказок и мифологии. Пляски, поэзия и угощения (перед действом пройдет свадебный пир) — все как в настоящем Средневековье. Балет, в котором, помимо профессиональных танцовщиков, зритель увидит хорошо знакомых актеров — Александра Горчилина, Петра Скворцова, Анастасию Красовскую и Александру Ревенко, — заставит думать о тайных желаниях, страхах и сомнениях. В центре повествования — три архетипических образа: Дева, Рыцарь и Маг. Влюбленные проходят через испытания темных сил, пытаясь найти и спасти друг друга в потустороннем мире. На опасном пути они проверят, не окажется ли их любовь очередной иллюзией.

Почему культура Средневековья до сих пор вдохновляет людей (и лично вас) на творчество?
Средневековье — период легенд, сказочных событий и всемирных потрясений. Считается, что время идет по спирали, а каждый новый виток повторяет предыдущий. Так вот сейчас мы как будто снова переживаем эту эпоху, только теперь у нас есть технологии. Они пусть и развиваются крайне быстро, остаются в форме бытового обслуживания нашего существования, и, как долго этот процесс продлится, неизвестно.
Старый учебник по истории Средних веков был моей любимой книгой с раннего детства, в нем были невероятно красивые графические иллюстрации, и я подолгу их рассматривал. Древние замки, рыцари, эстетика крестовых походов очень меня вдохновляли и вдохновляют по сей день.
Какую роль в этом спектакле играет видео-арт? Почему то, что зритель будет видеть на огромных экранах, нельзя назвать просто декорацией?
Такой формат в спектакле открывает дверь в мир легенд и задает стилистику сказочного комикса. Часть персонажей будет существовать только на видео — такое получается техно-Средневековье. Как на полотнах Питера Брейгеля, на экранах постоянно развивается некий сюжет. И обращать на этот фон внимание важно.
В основе видео-арта «Сказок сна» лежит моя серия графических работ, вдохновленная легендой о Дикой Охоте (в скандинавской мифологии группа призрачных всадников-охотников со сворой собак — прим. BURO.). Всей командой постарались переосмыслить эту историю и придумали четыре сновидения, в которые приглашаем зрителя вместе с нами погрузиться.
Все ли произведения искусства — о любви? А этот спектакль?
Любовь — главный двигатель повествования, инструмент, который вызывает у зрителя отклик. Все ли произведения о любви? Возможно, да. Главное, куда эта любовь направлена.
«Сказки сна» — об эмоциональных перипетиях, о внутреннем катарсисе, о перерождении. О всем том, что испытывает влюбленный, особенно во время разлуки. Наша история — о глубоком чувстве, которое проходит сквозь разные испытания и катаклизмы. Что бы ни происходило, любовь является путеводной нитью!

Какие именно сказки можно узнать в спектакле?
Итак, ингредиенты спектакля — это «Спящая красавица», баллады (от «Лесного царя» Гете до «Форель разбивает лед» Кузмина), легенда о королеве малагасийской Ранавалуне и даже «Толкование сновидений» Фрейда. Короче говоря, все то, что связано со снами.
В центре повествования — три архетипических образа: Дева, Рыцарь и Маг. Расскажи, что их отличает, по каким чертам их можно узнать.
По звуку текста. Знаете, говорят: хорошая пьеса — та, в которой можно закрыть имена героев и читать только их реплики, понимая, кто и где говорит. За это я хочу поблагодарить соавтора — поэта Антона Кирилловского. Именно он превратил мой сюжет в стихи. Я никогда раньше не работал в подобной связке, и для меня это был уникальный опыт — увидеть, как сюжет разворачивается внутри поэтического текста. Антону удалось написать стихотворения в самых разных формах: сонет, ахматовский стих, газель и еще одной очень современной. Не буду спойлерить, увидите сами.

Почему многих художников — и в живописи, и в кино, и в театре — так притягивает тема сновидений?
Это место свободы. Но не безопасности. Человечество вечно находится между этими двумя полюсами. Во сне можно делать что угодно, но случиться с тобой могут не только приятные ситуации, но и страшные. Обычно в этот момент мы просыпаемся, а наши герои еще глубже погружаются в сон. Но зрители, поверьте, не уснут! Это спектакль, во время которого спят герои, а не зрители.

Вы соавтор идеи спектакля. Как смогли объединить сказки, Средневековье, мифологию и сны, да еще и собрать такую профессиональную команду?
Мне давно нравилась идея поставить спектакль в замке — так появился метафорический Замок Снов, и вокруг него уже выросла собственная вселенная. Команда собирается быстро, когда есть свобода творчества. Со многими участниками проекта мы уже работали и создали комьюнити Star Hive — звездный улей. Название говорит само за себя. Это организация со множеством центров, или, как говорят в театре, цехов: видео, декорации, костюмы, гримеры, артисты. У каждого есть свой автор, и не один. Моя задача — синхронизировать это движение.
Как появилась мысль сделать пир частью спектакля, точнее — начать с него?
На первом шоу, которое я продюсировала, была кухня, где зрители ели черные пельмени и пили водку. Это входило в стоимость билета, и всем очень понравилось. Считаю, что буфет в театре — очень важная составляющая. Так почему бы не сделать его частью шоу? Первая ассоциация с замком, конечно, пир. Еда будет настоящая, но в первую очередь это будет сцена действия — больше секретов выдавать не могу.
Не мешают ли друг другу видео-арт, хореография, живая музыка и даже поэзия в одном спектакле? Почему захотелось такой мультижанровости?
Как правило, вокруг сильных идей объединяются и сильные авторы, которые не боятся заходить на территорию эксперимента и свободы творчества. Обожаю проекты на стыке жанров: это позволяет раскрыть большой потенциал. Наш проект похож на компьютерную игру со множеством миров и загадкой, которую нужно разгадать. Но не столько при помощи интеллекта, а, скорее, чувствами. Видео, поэзия, танец — мы приглашаем зрителей творить вместе с нами в Замке Снов, создавать свои фантазии на основе увиденного, влюбляться, загораться идеями и воплощать их в реальном мире.
